The Philippine Air Force Technical Specialization School (PAFTSS) took a step toward enhancing its training programs by visiting the TESDA Batangas Provincial Office on February 3, 2024, to explore the registration of its Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs under the Unified TVET Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS).

PAFTSS, based at Fernando Air Base, serves as the PAF’s training arm, offering courses in aircraft maintenance, communication electronics, and leadership development. As part of its commitment to improving training quality, the school aims to register its Electronic Product Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) NC II and Computer Systems Servicing (CSS) NC II programs this year.

During the visit, Major Christina D.C. Bechayda and PAF trainers met with TESDA Batangas representatives, led by UTPRAS Focal Person Ms. Karen B. Montalbo, who provided an orientation on the registration process and requirements.
