Basic Electrical Wiring Training for Revitalized Pulis for Barangay Thru TVET Program of the Laguna Police Provincial Office
Twenty two (22) uniformed personnel of Laguna Police Provincial Office (LPPO) participated and completed the community-based training on Basic Electrical Wiring conducted on February 6 and 7, 2025 at TESDA-LLDA Provincial Training Center.
Center Administrator Catherine B. Torres welcomed the participants during the opening program on February 6th and expressed the PTC’s willingness to serve the country’s uniformed personnel and their beneficiaries through TVET. Chief of the Provincial Community Affairs and Development Unit of the LPPO PLTCOL Jojo I. Sabeniano in his message encouraged all participants to get involved and learn this important skill that will be used to train people in the barangay as well. Training Unit Head and Lead Trainer in Electrical Installation and Maintenance Orlando P. Saulon led the two-day community-based training. He reminded the uniformed personnel of the critical issues when dealing with electricity and shared his expertise via lecture and presentations. The participants were also given the opportunity to have their hands-on practice in the center’s EIM workshop and facilities. They were provided with the necessary personal protective equipment, as well as tools and materials for the duration of the training.
During the closing program, Asst. Chief PLT Virginia E. Gentoleo reiterated the vision of the Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay Program and commended the participants for completing the training which will be cascaded further to the barangay where the police are deployed. Each of the participants then received a Certificate of Completion from TESDA-LLDA PTC.
