The Provincial Training Center–Lipa conducted an Industry Visitation and Consultation with ESI Philippines Transformer Services Corp. on January 13, 2026, at Barangay Aya, San Jose, Batangas, to explore potential industry partnership for the implementation of PV Systems Installation NC II and Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II qualifications.

The activity was led by Ms. Annalyn S. Panopio, Administrator, together with Mr. Malvin V. Marquez, Senior TESDS, representing PTC-Lipa. The visit aimed to strengthen industry linkages and ensure that the Center’s training programs remain aligned with current industry standards and workforce requirements.

During the consultation, ESI Chairman/General Manager Mr. Peter Gwynn and SMA Administrative Manager Ms. Norgielyn B. Mañago presented the company’s profile, scope of services, and operational capabilities, highlighting their relevance to electrical works and power-related services, including PV Systems Installation and Servicing competencies. A site walkthrough provided insights into the company’s facilities and operations. Both parties exchanged views on skills requirements and collaboration opportunities, with ESI expressing openness to future partnership subject to further coordination and assessment.
