BPTI Launches Advocacy Campaign to Promote Diploma in Agricultural Technology Across Bondoc Peninsula

Bondoc Peninsula Technological Institute (BPTI) conducted an Advocacy Campaign to promote the Diploma Program in Agricultural Technology in the municipalities Third and Fourth District of Quezon namely: San Narciso, Mulanay, San Francisco, San Andres, Catanauan, General Luna, Buenavista, and Lopez. The campaign aimed to seek the support of local government units and secondary schools in identifying and encouraging prospective students to enroll in the program.

The BPTI personnel spearheaded by Jannette D. Aurin, Training Management Unit, visited the Offices of the Mayors, Sangguniang Bayan, and various high schools to present the program’s objectives, admission requirements, and benefits. They disseminated IEC materials and installed tarpaulins within the premises of each Municipal Hall. In addition, discussions focused on the importance of agricultural education in developing skilled manpower and supporting local agricultural industries.

The campaign was positively received by local officials and school representatives, who expressed their commitment to assist in information dissemination and student referral. This kind of initiative is expected to contribute to higher enrollment and the continued promotion of quality agricultural education in the Bondoc Peninsula.
