Candelaria, Quezon – In a strategic effort to align vocational training with the evolving demands of the agricultural sector, the TESDA Quezon Provincial Office, in partnership with the Quezon Technical Vocational Educators Association (QTVEA), hosted a three-day workshop dedicated to the development of a Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) for Inbred Rice Production NC II. The event took place from October 21 - 23, 2024, at Uma Verde Econature Farm in Bukal Sur, Candelaria.

Deputy Director General for CBTVET and TVET Partnership, DDG Nelly Nita N. Dillera, personally graced the Provincial Launch of TESDA Sa Barangay yesterday, August 13, 2024, at the Laguna Sports Complex.

The launch marks a step in TESDA's mission to strengthen engagement with Local Government Units (LGUs) and bring essential skills training to the grassroots level. This initiative aligns with the Secretary's 10-point agenda, which emphasizes the expansion of TESDA's services to the most underserved communities across the country.

TESDA Quezon Province took a step towards empowering the youth by leading the distribution of training support funds and starter toolkits during the commencement exercise of 261 TESDA scholars from Colegio de Santo Cristo De Burgos Corporation. The event, held on May 14, 2024 at Sariaya, Quezon Province.

TESDA IV-A Regional Director Baron Jose L. Lagran graced the occasion. In his address, Director Lagran emphasized the importance of technical skills and highlighted TESDA's role in fostering a culture of excellence and achievement among scholars in Quezon Province.
