The TESDA Rizal Provincial Office successfully conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on January 28, 2025, at World Citi College, Inc., Antipolo City. The event aimed to strategically enhance the delivery of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) by aligning skills training programs with industry demands.

The Sinaglawan Class of 2025 – Section 8 successfully completed their Defensive Driving Course on January 28, 2025, at CAMP General Mariano N. Castañeda, Silang, Cavite, marking a pivotal achievement in their professional training. The event was honored by the presence of TESDA IV-A (CALABARZON) Regional Director Archie A. Grande, CESO III, and TESDA Cavite Provincial Director Gerardo R. Marasigan, who lauded the participants for their dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence.

As the development and finalization of the Competency Standards for Rabbit Production continues on its second day, Mr. Rodrigo Dela Cruz, Competency Standards Development expert-facilitator, guided the group in determining the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for each unit of competency identified within the rabbit production industry.

On January 28, 2025, TESDA Cavite successfully conducted the first Community Training and Employment Coordinators (CTECs) meeting via Zoom, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss updates, strategies, and collaborative efforts in advancing technical education and skills development at the grassroots level.

This virtual engagement underscores TESDA’s commitment to enhancing community-based training programs, fostering stronger partnerships with LGUs, and empowering Filipinos with valuable skills for employment and livelihood opportunities.

TESDA Region IV-A Regional Director Archie A. Grande, CESO III, met with Hon. Luis "Jon-jon" A. Ferrer IV, City Mayor of General Trias, Cavite, to discuss collaborative efforts in advancing technical education and skills development initiatives.

During the meeting, Mayor Ferrer and RD Grande engaged in a productive dialogue regarding the City Government's generous donation of land for the establishment of the Regional Training Innovation Center (RTIC) under the Strengthening Initiatives for Philippine TVET Systems (SIPTVETS) Project.
